Established in 1992, Al-Hedayah serves the Muslim community in North-Central Tarrant County. It is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that operates a full-service Masjid Al-Hedayah (dba Eastchase Islamic Center), a Weekend Islamic School, an active Muslim Youth Program, and supports Dar-ul-Qur’an, a Qur’an program administered by Al-Hedayah’s resident Imam, Sheikh Mohamed Elagami.
Our vision is to be a leading mosque in providing Islamic guidance and services to the community. To promote Islam by means of engaging in good conduct and good behavior towards all members of our surrounding community, Muslims and non-Muslims alike, with the opportunity to learn and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction.
Eastchase Islamic Center (EIC) serves the spiritual, religious and communal needs of area Muslims by means of nurturing their faith, upholding their values, and fostering the well-being of the surrounding community through worship, charity, education, outreach, and civic engagement.
